Rates (2008): Duck Hunts: $150 a gun (shooting time until a limit is shot or 1 pm) Turkey Hunts: $200 Full day hunt * Gratuities not Included in the price * Repeat clients will get the 2007 rate. Three paying people will hold the boat or field, but if your group is less than three people I reserve the right to add the total number of hunters for the day to four. You can pay for the extra people or person if you wish to guarantee hunting alone or with your hunting partner. For turkey hunting I do one on one guiding or two on one. If you are hunting in a pair I charge a base rate of $200 a day for both of you. If one of you gets a turkey before noon, I will then charge the other hunter $150 to continue hunting throughout the day. If the first bird is never taken or taken after noon then we will continue hunting without having to pay the additional $150. For your best odds at bagging a long beard I recommend a two day hunt. I require a 50% down payment with a signed contract that I will send to you at time of booking. Lodging Information: For my Mississippi River Duck hunts I would recommend staying at the Grandview Motel in Ferryville that is located just a few blocks from the boat landing that I primarily use. If you are looking for a hunting lodge style atmosphere there is the Duck Inn Lodge located in Prairie du Chien. I have links up of their web sites under my links page. If none of those work out for you I can help point you in the right direction to one of the many motels and hotels located in Prairie du Chien. Down below you can click on the interactive map to get driving directions to Ferryville. For the goose and turkey hunts there are many hotel and motel options in the Stevens Point area. I have a few listed in the information that I will send you at time of booking, but if you would like contact information to any other area hotels I will be glad to give it to you.
