About Myself: My name is Matt and I am a twenty-four year old college student that loves the great outdoors. I have traveled from Alaska to Costa Rica in search of fish and game. I began fishing at a very young age, for the last two summers I worked for in outfitter in northern Wisconsin and guided fishing trips and did trout stream restoration projects. After Graduation in May of 2008 I will be heading up to the north woods once again, this summer my plan is to guide for myself along with producing a musky fishing video. In mid September before the duck season I will head back down south closer to the Mississippi River where I will guide duck hunts through the duck season. After those endeavors are over I want to start up an ecosystem restoration company. I learned how to hunt on my family's farm which is located only a few minutes away from the mighty Mississippi River which has great wildlife habitat. I honed my skills at deer, turkey, and duck hunting over the years. If it's not hunting season I spend lots of my free time carving decoys or practicing my calling. At the age of 17 I bought my first duck hunting boat. Since then I have up-graded boats several times and expanded my arsenal of hunting equipment. | I had a sucessful 2007 hunting season. I had great time meeting new people from all over the US. I want to thank the people that booked hunts with me last fall and spring, I hope you were able to have an enjoyable day a field. I Can't wait to see you again this year! Thanks, Captain Matt Raley |
